House Republicans held an important vote regarding the national debt limit. I’m proud to have stood united with my colleagues to cut discretionary spending over the next decade and work to get the national debt under control for North Dakotans.
For too long, President Biden and the Left’s reckless spending has forced our country into substantial debt, putting the economic future of Americans in jeopardy.
Just as we manage our personal finances, the federal government has a responsibility to spend appropriately and use the American people’s tax dollars wisely…
And friend, I refuse to let our country go further into debt under President Biden’s reckless spending. You deserve better than that.
As a Member of Congress, I understand the responsibility that I have to our state, which has one of the fastest growing economies in the country.
House Republicans are united in our efforts to reduce wasteful government spending and ensure the economic prosperity of our country.
And friend, that can only be accomplished when Republicans have control in Washington.
