John, Latino turnout played a critical role in delivering Democratic victories in both 2020 and 2024. So now, Republican politicians are responding by trying to make it harder to vote in 2024.
Unfortunately, these kinds of tactics are nothing new. Just recently, Rudy Giuliani bragged to fellow MAGA extremist Steve Bannon that, back in the 1990s, he intentionally spread dangerous misinformation to suppress Latino votes in New York City.
Giuliani called this a “dirty trick.” We call it voter suppression.
Voto Latino is working to counteract GOP efforts to restrict ballot access by ensuring young Latinos know when, where, and how to vote. Our grassroots supporters have helped us register more than a million new voters over the past decade. Will you pitch in now to help us keep going?
Latinos currently represent the second-largest voting bloc in the country — and every 30 seconds, yet another young Latino reaches voting age. But for decades, Republican lawmakers have worked to dilute our political power by using voter suppression tactics.
If we mobilize our communities to turn out and vote in huge numbers, we can reshape the electorate, defeat anti-voting politicians, and elevate leaders who will fight for our values. Will you donate now to help us make it happen?
