We are excited to announce that Rep. Jarrod Sammis, a freshman legislator in the Vermont House of Representatives, has switched his party affiliation to Libertarian!

Rep. Sammis made the decision official at a press conference from the Vermont State House, joined by LNC Region 8 Representative Pat Ford and LP Vermont Chair Olga Mardach-Duclerc.

Vermont CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX television outlets were in attendance, along with a variety of print and digital publications.

During the press conference, Sammis spoke about his decision to join the Libertarian Party as well as his plans to introduce Defend The Guard legislation during the next legislative session.
