Over 80 young women have applied for scholarships to join us at our Young Women Run conference in Washington D.C. this July.

As amazing as this is, the demand far outweighs the resources we have available. IGNITE is determined to meet this challenge and provide new opportunities for a diverse group of young women. Can you help? ([link removed] )

The reality is, we are all worried about the financial climate, particularly its impact on college-aged people. So many of the applications we’ve received highlight the fact that young women are working multiple jobs just to make ends meet. They will not be able to take advantage of the training unless they have some form of financial support.

Today, I’m reaching out with a special request to help us meet this extraordinary demand for scholarships to attend the 3-day Young Women Run D.C. conference. At a minimum, we hope to raise $10,000 more to cover scholarships for young women who otherwise won’t have the financial means to attend.
