Dear John,

VoteRiders has been hard at work in Texas lately, where the restrictive voter ID law is confusing, and particularly prone to excluding young voters (student IDs are not permitted for voting).

That's why we made a major investment in voter outreach leading up to the recent May 6 municipal elections in several of Texas’s largest cities. Voters needed to know what ID to bring to the polls — and received our free help if they didn't have an accepted form of voter ID.

Help us replenish our resources after these critical Texas elections so that we can ramp up our assistance work in North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Florida, Wisconsin, and more.

We’re proud to have reached more than 300,000 Texas voters with free ID help and information ahead of elections on May 6:
* More than 100 volunteers sent more than 220,000 texts to Texas voters.
* We partnered with dozens of Texas community organizations to reach the voters most impacted by the voter ID law.
* We distributed tens of thousands of bilingual Voter ID Information Cards.

These recent Texas municipal elections are just the beginning. We’re focused on the remaining local elections in cities like Houston in 2023, while also looking toward the quickly-approaching 2024 elections as we continue to support the millions of voters in Texas that need free ID information and help.

Donate now and power our continued work in Texas and the 36 other states with voter ID laws. >> [link removed]

Thanks for being a supporter of VoteRiders and helping us reach the millions of Americans who lack a valid voter ID. Your ongoing support strengthens our democracy.

Sincerely,

Roy Speckhardt
Development Director
VoteRiders

P.S. We’re working right now to reach voters in Jacksonville and Pittsburgh, who’ll be voting in local elections on May 16. Donate now to support our voter outreach efforts in Florida and Pennsylvania! >> [link removed]
