This session we introduced two pieces of pro-life legislation and need your help now.

John we just introduced two pieces of pro-life legislation in the 2020 Oregon legislative short session: the Born-Alive Infants Protection bill [[link removed]] and the Pain-Capable Infants Protection bill [[link removed]].

Since radically pro-abortion Democrats have supermajorities in both the House and Senate, we need every advocate in Oregon to take action to help these bills.

Oregon's current state of law is reprehensible. Will Oregon legislators perform their duty of protecting vulnerable Oregonians or not? Let's hold them accountable to their short session record in the 2020 elections, John.

Take Action [[link removed]] Born-Alive Infants Protection:

SB 1523

This bill requires abortion providers to exercise a proper degree of care to preserve the health and life of a baby born alive during or after an abortion. The bill also requires that a baby born during an abortion procedure be immediately transported and admitted to a hospital for care.

Pain-Capable Infants Protection:

HB 4048

This bill would ban abortions after 20 weeks gestation. The bulk of science proves that babies are capable of experiencing pain by 20 weeks gestation. HB 4048 would require an abortion provider to first determine the gestational age of a baby before performing an abortion. If violated, the abortion provider’s license would be subject to review by the Oregon Health Authority.
