Mary Gay is working to defend reproductive rights, but the GOP majority in the House means Democrats don’t have the power to stop dangerous anti-choice policies.
Codifying Roe into law will take a Democratic majority that prioritizes and protects reproductive care. 2024 is going to be another consequential election and we are already playing catch-up with billionaire-backed Republicans. Your donation helps us secure the resources we need to defeat the GOP in the fight for reproductive rights.

Onward,
Team Scanlon
Begin forwarded message:
Almost exactly one year ago, via an unprecedented leak, we learned of the Supreme Court’s plan to officially overturn Roe v. Wade .
Now one year later the attacks on reproductive rights have not slowed: with Mifepristone next on the chopping block further putting safe, accessible reproductive care at risk.
The right has been working to dismantle abortion rights since the day Roe became precedent more than 50 years ago. Meanwhile, we’ve had one year to build our resources and organize to protect reproductive freedom.
They have a 50 to 1 advantage over us, and we need to make up for lost time. Donate now to stand against the party jeopardizing our rights and stripping us of our bodily autonomy.

We cannot stand on the sidelines while the GOP pours in millions of dollars to back anti-choice candidates here in Pennsylvania and across the country. Just recently, when asked about a nationwide ban, former President Trump declared he “thinks he could get it done.” I don’t need to tell you how dangerous this talk is.
The GOP is targeting abortion access everywhere, but despite their attempts we’ve seen them fail even in states like Nebraska and South Carolina where they hold legislative majorities — this is not what the people want. Trump’s comments about a nationwide ban are just the latest in the assault on reproductive freedom but they are a foreboding look at what could be in store if we don’t fight back now.
The only way to codify Roe into law and prevent a nationwide abortion ban is to elect Democrats who will safeguard our constitutional rights and secure safe access to abortion.
You have the power to change the majority in the House. Make a donation right now to help us restore a Democratic majority that will prioritize — not jeopardize — reproductive rights.

I know it’s hard to have hope in moments like these, but I promise this fight is far from over.
In solidarity,
Mary Gay
