John,
I was in Texas to canvass with Jonathan Estrada, who won his reelection to the Pasadena City Council, Bryan Martinez, who secured a seat on the Brownsville City Commission and Jalen McKee-Rodriguez, who won reelection to the San Antonio City Council – the first incumbent to be reelected to this seat in 10 years!
I was able to see firsthand the hard work these candidates – and more – put into winning over the weekend. Join me in wishing them congratulations – add your name today!
Winning local races like these aren't easy. Every vote matters. That's why Victory Fund is focused on gathering support, strategically working with our candidates and wisely using campaign resources. We're bringing people together - and building a lasting pipeline of LGBTQ+ leadership on the ground in Texas.
It's about creating long-term change. These candidates and volunteers dedicated countless hours to get folks to the polls and get our candidates over the finish line. It was an honor to help build upon these campaigns and see change happen, this past Election Day and again in the future. They earned these wins.
Together, we are building a new generation of leaders. When LGBTQ+ candidates run, they win. Sign our congratulations card for our winners!
Thank you for supporting our work,
Marty Rouse
