Lonely paws crunch over melting snow. Below, the ice RUMBLES and CRACKS. A mama
polar bear scouts for food on the ice shelf, but as more of her habitat
disappears, she’s beginning to STARVE!

The Arctic is warming TWICE as fast as anywhere else in the world. Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is one of the last unspoiled places on
Earth -- and it’s melting! The Indigenous Gwich’in people call this region “the sacred place where life
begins,” and many communities rely on this ecosystem’s fragile balance for
resources.

Oil and gas developments are threatening to DESTROY the region and accelerate
the Arctic’s melting by spewing climate-warming emissions and toxic pollution. Snowy landscapes and
coastal tundras could be PAVED OVER, and noisy tanker trucks and drilling rigs could disturb polar bears, giant caribou, and other animals.

These dirty energy projects don’t have to happen -- and they might not with your
help. The insurance giant Chubb has committed not to support projects that threaten
the Arctic refuge -- these projects need insurance to get off the ground. YOU can help push the next insurer to follow in Chubb’s steps and protect the
Arctic! If just 1 of every 9 people reading this email takes action, we can pressure
AIG Insurance to OPPOSE fossil fuel destruction in the Arctic National Wildlife
Refuge. Please, Friend, take immediate action!

[[link removed]]The Gwich’in Steering Committee is asking other insurance companies to follow
Chubb’s lead. The Gwich’in people have stewarded these lands since time
immemorial. Oil and gas development will not only disrupt that balance -- it
will also mean toxic pollution for the people who live here. Respiratory illnesses, cancer, and liver disease are just a few of the potential side effects of exposure to fossil fuel
pollution.

AIG Insurance has a choice, Friend. It can decide to
protect the Arctic from the tyranny of the fossil fuel industry, or it can
enable it. You can help it make the right decision. Will you tell AIG Insurance to PROTECT the Arctic, its people, and wildlife
from oil and gas?
