The First Congressional District of Georgia is the Coastal Empire, and the most beautiful district in America.

This week being National Travel and Tourism Week, I want to highlight the Okefenokee Swamp as a must see in our district. The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge showcases an extraordinary amount of diverse flora and fauna that call the 416,000 acre wetland, home.

There are so many remarkable people, places, and businesses that make up the First District of Georgia. That is why I am able to speak on the floor of the House so often, I have so much to celebrate and be proud of in the district that I have the honor and privilege of representing.
