I’m sorry to email first thing on a Monday, but I just took a look at our weekend fundraising and frankly, we’re not where we need to be.

With the support of this team, we flipped a 50-year Republican stronghold in 2022, so you can bet they’re eager to take it back – in fact, they’re already spending big on attack ads against me. I wish I could ignore these partisan attacks and focus on advocating for West Michiganders, but that won’t make them go away.

The reality is that defending myself requires financial resources – and I’m counting on this grassroots team to have my back.
