They did it, John.

Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate just voted to acquit Donald
Trump. We all knew this was coming from day one. No one expected Trump’s
lapdog Senate to vote any other way.

America knows this wasn’t a trial. It was a cover-up to protect Donald
Trump. And any chance Republicans would choose the country over party got
thrown out the window once they blocked witnesses from testifying and
voted to ignore critical documents and new evidence.

Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins, and Mitch McConnell threw the American
people under the bus for the sake of Trump and party -- and because they
think it will get them re-elected.

We’re not going to let that happen. We will defeat Trump and flip control
of the US Senate. We will unite to elect a progressive President and a
powerful Democratic Majority in the Senate.

First, House Republicans wouldn’t hold Trump accountable. So we replaced
them in 2018 with a Democratic majority that did.

Impeachment is forever.

Now, Senate Republicans didn’t hold Trump accountable. So, we’re going to
do it again.

The first step happens right now. Make sure your friends, family, and
co-workers on social media see you’re not beaten down. You’re fighting
back and you’ll do whatever it takes to defeat Trump and elect a real
Senate.
