*Public Health Lifts Recommendation to Remain Indoors after City of Commerce Industrial Building Fire *

After the recent industrial building fire in the City of Commerce, Public Health has continued monitoring the air quality in the area. Readings were taken at quarter-mile intervals up to one mile away from the fire location in all directions last night. All recorded PM 2.5 levels were below the EPA's 24-hour standard of 0.035 mg/m3.

With the fire now out and air quality readings below standard limits, the recommendation to remain indoors has been lifted.
