Today, the Senate will vote on whether or not to remove Donald Trump from office.

Though we're on the brink of a historic vote, we can't lose sight of the fact that it was a long, difficult road for us to get here -- made more difficult by the fact that Richard Neal had to be dragged kicking and screaming into supporting Trump's impeachment. 

This is exactly why I'm running for Congress -- to replace Neal with someone who won't be afraid to speak truth to power and hold people like President Trump accountable. Will you help us grow our grassroots campaign by making a gift today?

And it's not just impeachment -- Neal has the power to hold the President accountable, but he has repeatedly refused to wield that power. After becoming Chair of the powerful House Ways & Means Committee, he stalled on requesting Trump's tax returns. And it took him until September to move from being hesitant on impeachment to supporting it.

Day after day, time after time, Congressman Neal continues to fail not only our district, but our country. Today's impeachment vote is a stark reminder of how little he has done to hold Trump accountable, and how many opportunities for accountability Neal has cost us.
