John,
We must tell the story of our Constitution, that the First Amendment was written to protect the church from the state, not the state from the church.
We must encourage and motivate those with faith to be involved in every facet of life, without fear that they’ll be looked down upon for their beliefs.
The radical Left says that our patriotism is down. If it’s down, it’s because they keep telling people that we live in an evil country.
We have to tell them the whole story, and the story of truth is the story of redemption, prayer, and faith.
America is the freest, fairest land in the history of the world. Because of that we are allowed to pray where and how we see fit. It’s a right that we can never stop defending.
American exceptionalism is understanding that the universal laws embedded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ are the foundation on which we stand, and living according to the consistent value system that we find in the Gospel means that we can rise beyond our circumstances–that we can be the city on the hill.
And I will simply say this: I come from a family that understands the power of prayer. Faith is the key (and a praying mama). All things are possible.
I am sitting here as living proof that anyone from anywhere at any time can rise with faith the size of a mustard seed, and a dream brighter than the South Carolina sunshine.
If you agree that we need to restore faith in America, will you please sign your name here?

God Bless you all.
