Folks, as you know, my race was not a conventional one. The campaign we built together was focused on reaching new voters, expanding the electorate, inspiring people who weren’t political to invest in the democratic process.
The issues we talked about resonated with so many people across Kentucky. Those are issues we continue to fight for and I believe that soon we will win.
But despite the historic progress we made and the hundreds of thousands of donations we received, national support never came.
I’ve been asking for your help for a few weeks now and we’ve made a lot of progress. We’ve chipped away at our debt, but we still have some ways to go.
