[ stdin# ]Women’s March
John, we
couldn’t even get through the weekend before we had to update you again on
Clarence & Ginni Thomas’s scandals. Here’s the latest on their corruption:
Back in 2012, a prominent conservative judicial activist asked Kellyanne
Conway (yep, the same one who would go on to be campaign manager and
senior adviser to Donald Trump) to send Ginni Thomas tens of thousands of
dollars out of his nonprofit group, the Judicial Education Project (JEP).
Ginni Thomas’s name was intentionally HIDDEN from any documents that might
leave a paper trail.
That same year, the Judicial Education Project filed a brief before the
Supreme Court in a case that undermined the Voting Rights Act. (And if you
couldn’t guess, JEP was not on the side of protecting access to the ballot
box.)
Breaking it down:
1. JEP paid Ginni Thomas.
2. JEP filed a brief opposing key provisions of the Voting Rights Act.
3. The Supreme Court, with Clarence Thomas’s vote, struck down those key
provisions.
Seems like pay-to-play corruption to us!
