Happy Public Service Recognition Week!

Since 1985 Public Service Recognition Week has been going strong, honoring the work of federal, state, county, local and tribal government employees across the country. Our union, AFGE, is so proud to represent over 750,000 public servants who work across the federal government, the D.C. government, and the nation.

During this week, we want to take a moment to thank you, our civil servants, for the work you do on behalf of the American people. From serving our veterans to delivering benefits to the most vulnerable to responding to natural disasters, and everything in between we are incredibly grateful for your service and proud to be your union.
