It’s hard to believe it’s the end of Day 3, friend.

This convention has been one for the books and it’s thanks to the support from Canadians across the country like you! Because of your hope and hard work, our Liberal team is ready and reenergized to keep Canada moving forward for everyone.

Day 3 was an exciting day full of organizing and readiness panels where we discussed Winning campaigns in the digital age, GOTV, and Being the Liberal candidate.

Thousands of Liberals participated in our 2023 Open Policy Process and we heard engaging keynote conversations between Marci Ien and Liz Plank as well as Farah Alibay and Pascale St-Onge.

SPEAKERS & PANELISTS

We were joined by Michael Whitney, Ryan Thompson, Garima Verma, and Patrick Frank for our “Winning campaigns in the digital age” panel where they spoke about how to organize digital fundraising for smaller campaigns, digital outreach to youth and seniors, and how to adapt to changing digital landscapes on social media, email, and more.

Marci Ien and Liz Plank discussed reproductive rights, how we should work with grassroots organizations to assist women, and how listening to what people are saying can help us support women and gender-diverse Canadians.

This afternoon, Anita Anand delivered remarks on how important Canada plays a role around the world in upholding democratic values, how we need to continue to celebrate diversity, and the importance of building up our national institutions so that they reflect all Canadians.

In the final keynote conversation, Farah Alibay and Pascale St-Onge discussed diversity in the scientific community and how building a team with people from different backgrounds can help drive progress. As Pascale St-Onge said, having everyone at the table ensures that the decisions that we make don’t leave anyone behind.
