Friend,

I am committed to cannabis justice — which means not only decriminalizing cannabis use but also ensuring that those most harmed by the failed "war on drugs" are able to benefit from legalization.

That's why last week, I introduced the CLAIM Act, which would ensure that cannabis businesses have equitable access to business insurance. This builds on the SAFE Banking Act I introduced last term to extend banking services to cannabis businesses and the work I did to make the Small Business Administration loans available to cannabis businesses.

Banking and insurance services are critical to small businesses' success, and these measures will help make the growing industry more equitable.

But the fight for cannabis justice is still an uphill battle, so we need all hands on deck. Can I count on your support?

I'll keep fighting for cannabis small businesses. I hope you'll stand with me.

Thanks,
Nydia
