Friend,

It was five years ago last month that you put your trust in me to become the President of our party, and I would like to take a moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished together.

During the last 5 years as your President, we have achieved great things and overcome some unique challenges. I am proud of what we have accomplished, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it alongside all of you. Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team have created good middle-class jobs, made housing more affordable, accelerated our fight against climate change, moved forward on reconciliation, and so much more.

Through my time as President – or as I like to say, your Chief Volunteer – I have had the opportunities to engage with communities across Canada, meeting people who keep our Liberal team going, and those helping to share our positive message across the country, which is why I am so appreciative of this role. It’s dedicated Liberals like you, who power our party and country forward.


Five years ago, I promised, with your help, to build our volunteer base and make sure our volunteers were the best trained, with the most advanced tools to help keep us moving and growing our ground game. And we delivered, together. We launched a volunteer appreciation program that has kept our volunteers engaged, and we’ve directly thanked tens of thousands volunteers since 2019. Our Party has continued to grow – because of you.

As I pass the torch to Sachit Mehra, I am confident that we’ll continue to build on our progress to reach even more Canadians, and build a better future for everyone.


I would like to thank each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication, and support during my time as President. It has been an incredible journey, and I will always look back on my time here with fondness and greatness.
