There is nothing "pro-life" these laws. continue reading

John, the GOP is committed to rolling back women's rights, their healthcare decisions, and access to abortion procedures. Let's be clear: A national ban is their goal.

Since the beginning of 2023, actions have been taken to prevent access to medication abortions (the abortion pill mifepristone), as well as rolling back the allowed timeframes for an abortion. TRAP laws that were already in place have been overtaken by total bans or laws without exceptions for rape or incest.

- The North Carolina legislature just passed a 12-week ban on Thursday.
- The Florida Senate just passed a bill to roll back the 15-week ban to a 6-week ban (a timeframe that is often BEFORE a woman finds out that she is pregnant.)
- A Texas judge, appointed by Trump and who formerly worked for a Christian organization, issued a preliminary ruling that the F.D.A. approval of mifepristone was not legally sound.
- 10 states have gestational bans ranging from 6 weeks - viability (around 20 weeks), however, the definition of viability and "personhood" depends on the state's own constitution.

- 12 states now, after the Dobbs decision went into effect, have total bans that have no exceptions for rape or incest.

This is all led by the GOP and their "pro-life" crusade.
No exceptions for rape or incest.
Women are waiting until they go into sepsis to receive care.
Doctors are afraid of offering treatment.
Children are being forced to carry a pregnancy to term.

There is nothing "pro-life" about these restrictive measures. We have to push back and keep our nation from slipping further into the wrong side of history. Chip in now and help us elect leaders that will protect freedom and choice, and defend the women of this nation.

Chip in $20.24 → Chip in $50 →
Chip in $100 → Chip in other amount →

John, your support is vital. Thank you so much!
