Lesko Tours Stampede Offshore Platform

My House Republican colleagues and I joined Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA-01) to visit an offshore oil rig and discuss how Republicans are combatting the Biden Administration’s war on American energy.

It was great to join a roundtable hosted by Port Fourchon and the South Central Industrial Association to hear from industry leaders on issues facing the energy industry.

Lesko Leads Letter to Consumer Product Safety Commission to Protect Gas Stoves

I led a letter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to request that the CPSC rescind its Request for Information (RFI) on residential gas stoves and cooktops. The Biden Administration is laying the groundwork for another back-door attempt to ban gas stoves. I was proud to lead this letter to the CPSC to demand they rescind the RFI and stop using the false guise of public health as a justification for their crusade against gas stoves.

In the News

I want to make sure you don't miss a minute of what I’m doing to fight for Arizonans each and every day. Check out my latest interview below.

Fox News

I joined Fox News to discuss how teachers' union leaders pushed the Democrat agenda at the expense of our children’s education. We ought to listen to the science, not a politicized teacher’s union. My colleagues and I on the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic are working to investigate this mishandling! GET THE FACTS: House Republicans are Stepping Up with Secure the Border Act

From day one, President Biden has taken action to undermine our border security, including halting construction of the border wall. This administration's failed, open border policies have facilitated a historic border crisis and created a devastating humanitarian crisis. President Biden's inaction has enabled criminal cartels to traffic record numbers of illegal migrants and deadly drugs into our country. What's more, President Biden is allowing Title 42 to expire on May 11, 2023, which will only leave America more vulnerable to the unprecedented levels of illegal immigrants and deadly drugs entering our nation. House Republicans, however, are stepping up to the plate in the face of this failed leadership with legislation to secure the border and protect our communities. House Republicans' H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act, will combat President Biden's border crisis by resuming the border wall construction, ending catch and release, increasing the number of Border Patrol officers, strengthening and streamlining the asylum process, and enhancing the necessary technology at the border. We are keeping our Commitment to America by securing the southern border when the Biden Administration has refused to do so.

Around the District

Monica from our office met with religious community leaders to discuss the many services our office provides. Our constituents are our priority, and we are here to assist them with their issues with federal agencies!

Image

Monica presented a Congressional Recognition to RAM Ministries, a non-profit based in Glendale, AZ, which provides young males in foster care with a home and career skills.

Monica also attended Westmarc’s Economic Development Summit where experts spoke about Arizona’s water initiatives and plans for water conservation, economic growth, and the future impact on the West Valley.

Casework Highlight

A constituent contacted our office after becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen. She was unable to receive her documents from the State Department after her naturalization and subsequent application for a passport. We helped the constituent obtain her passport and receive her citizenship documents in a timely manner. This enabled her to prove her citizenship to her new employer, which was a condition of her employment.
