Out-of-state billionaire Richard Uihlein is bankrolling Republican efforts to effectively END citizen-led ballot initiatives in Ohio.

Uihlein has reportedly already funneled more than $1 million into Ohio to persuade House Republicans to vote on a measure that would strip away power from Ohio voters. Worse: if Republicans and Uihlein get their way, Ohio taxpayers will have to shell out $20 million to pay for a sham August special election to vote on this measure.

Listen, Republican politicians know they're on the wrong side of the issues that are important to working Ohioans. That's why they're bringing in an out-of-state billionaire to effectively BUY our state constitution and stop citizen-led ballot initiatives.

Right now, amendments need just a simple majority to pass in Ohio. But if extreme Republicans get their way, they'll raise that threshold to a 60% majority, making it nearly impossible for Ohioans to shape our own state constitution.
