Outgoing president Suzanne Cowan opened our 2023 Liberal National Convention on Thursday speaking to supporters about all the work we’ve accomplished together over the past 5 years. Thanks Suzanne for all that you’ve done for our party!

Later Thursday evening, Justin Trudeau took the stage to speak to Liberal supporters about the work we’ve achieved for Canadians, the work that’s left to do, and how we can continue building on our progress – even when Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party work to roll it back.

This evening, Jean Chrétien reflected on his time in politics in a conversation with François-Philippe Champagne. Marking 30 years since he was elected Prime Minister, the two discussed what it means to deliver for Canadians, move our country forward, and how we can keep making progress for everyone.

Later Friday evening, Liberals filled Canada Hall to hear Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chrystia Freeland’s keynote conversation on strengthening democracy globally, being a woman in politics, and how we can combat online hate together.
