We are the world's policemen whether we like it or not. We are the most powerful economy on planet Earth. Our Navy basically guarantees the freedom of shipping throughout the world; America and our hegemony have essentially kept the world somewhat peaceful since the end of World War II. This means that the U.S. retreating from the world scene is catastrophic. And that means the United States needs a functional, well-staffed military. One essential way you recruit for the military, typically speaking, is to pitch the idea of patriotism. This has unfortunately become passé. And that's a problem. As patriotism dies, it is harder to recruit for the military. Generally, the people who tend to join the military are young men from patriotic backgrounds with military parents and grandparents. The chief draw of the military is that it stands for the American flag. The people who do not tend to join the military are people who are not particularly patriotic. So as we raise entire generations of people to dislike patriotism, it is not surprising that the military is having recruitment problems. When you combine that fact with the fact a great majority of the young people in America are apparently overweight and unhealthy, this makes for a very bad recruitment pool. And this is precisely what is happening with the United States military. So, is the military trying to fix the problem? Are they seeking patriotic recruits? Are they incentivizing physical and mental health? Of course not. They are going woke! Latest Releases: |
They have decided to recruit based on finding personal fulfillment. Now, this is just about the dumbest pitch you could make if you are the military. The purpose of a military is not diversity; the purpose of a military is not to find a subjective sense of personal fulfillment. The goal of creating a successful military is to mold a cohesive fighting force. This generally requires that individualism take a back seat, that everybody gets broken down and then built back up as part of a community in which everybody is a series of essential parts. So the pitch must include values like brotherhood. The pitch must include values like patriotism. But now, the army has decided they are going to fall down the bizarre atomistic individual rabbit hole of trying to recruit based on individual self-expression. They say, “Come to the army and find yourself.” This is the kind of pitch that gets you drag queens in the Navy. It is no wonder the Navy has now invited a drag queen who is an active duty sailor to join its pilot digital ambassador program. Nothing says “Join the Navy” quite like a dude dressing in drag and gallivanting about! Now, here's the thing: You will probably draw two drag queens, and then have every young, masculine, patriotic American look at this and say, “I'm not going to get on a submarine with this guy.” But that is fine with the brass, apparently – better to have a Navy safe for drag queens than seas safe for shipping. The message being sent is that the Navy is not there to make the world safer. It is there to socially experiment. The Navy is not there to ensure that the Chinese Navy does not take over the South China Sea. They are, instead, there to inspire people all over the world with a dude wearing makeup and a wig and a bunch of sticky diamonds on his face, making kissy faces at the camera. The Navy is now evaluating its effectiveness and future implementation of such brand ambassadors. Surprise of surprises, it is a failure. According to Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Lisa Franchetti, in fiscal year '23, “We expect to miss our active duty recruiting goal 8,000 sailors short of our 37,700 goal.” Additionally, they expect to finish 3,000 sailors short of their 10,330 recruiting goal for the Navy Reserve. Wonder why the world is becoming a more violent and chaotic place? Maybe it is because people are not all that intimidated by a Navy that recruits using drag queen Harpy Daniels. Our enemies are laughing at us. The only thing that stands between their laughter and aggressiveness is the sophistication of our military. But apparently, we do not have people to staff our ships; we do not have people to staff the Army. And again, our institutions are now officially caving to the stupidity of atomistic individualism and sexual identity and making them core components of the Army and Navy. The military, in general, is diving headfirst into an empty pool, and it is paralyzing America. People who serve are doing more than I am. But that doesn't mean the way the military is now approaching the service is rational. It is not. It's insane. When you are falling short of your recruitment goals by leaps and bounds, putting each one of us in danger, it points to the failure of a fundamental function of the federal government: to protect and defend the United States of America, all in the name of Left-wing social policies.
