We hope you have had a great week! We were so glad to see so many of you at Congressman Kim’s town hall last Friday and his open house at our new Freehold district office. We are so excited to have our doors officially open in Monmouth County to serve you.

In May, we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! It is an important time to reflect and honor AAPI history and uplift the enormous contributions of AAPI. AAPI stories are not just Asian American stories, they are American stories and history isn’t just Asian American history, it’s American history. This month, we reflect on what this means in our collective work moving forward to prioritize inclusivity and unity.

Congressman Kim Hosts 62nd Town Hall in Southampton

It was great to be with so many neighbors in Southampton last Friday for Congressman Kim’s 62nd monthly town hall. Congressman Kim was grateful for the chance to speak about his latest work in Congress and hear about what’s on your mind.

Congratulations Congressional Art Competition Participants

This week, Congressman Kim hosted an art show for the 25 local students who submitted art to the Congressional Art Competition! He enjoyed the chance to showcase their work and celebrate their incredible talent.

The winning art in this annual competition will hang in the halls of the U.S. Capitol representing New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District!

Congressman Kim Officially Opens Doors in Monmouth County!

Congressman Kim hosted an open house at his new office in Freehold Borough, New Jersey on Tuesday. He enjoyed speaking with community members, introducing people to members of his staff, and welcoming everyone to our new office space! The Congressman appreciated everyone who came and looks forward to welcoming many more people to the office as we continue our work helping address issues people have with federal agencies.

Tuesday also marked National Teacher Appreciation Day! We are lucky to have the best educators here in New Jersey! Congressman Kim is committed to standing by their side and working to deliver them the support they need.

During National Small Business Week, Congressmen Kim, Burchett Reintroduce Bill to Empower Small Businesses and Visits Local Entertainment Entrepreneurs

Congressman Kim introduced the Access Business Credit (ABC) Act that would create a new incentive program that would empower community banks to lend to small businesses by easing their tax burden. Small businesses are the lifeblood of New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District’s economy. The legislation works to help small businesses throughout Burlington, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties with more access to credit and continues Congressman Kim’s work to help make key programs work better for small businesses across New Jersey.

This week, Congressman Kim also visited Stone Dog Studios who have brought creativity and the entertainment industry to Freehold since 2008! Congressman Kim enjoyed visiting their shop during Small Business Week and will continue to work on bringing more entertainment industry opportunities to New Jersey.

Small businesses fuel our communities across New Jersey. Congressman Kim is proud to look out for their needs in Congress!

Congressman Kim Speaks with New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs

Congressman Kim joined the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs for their annual convention and discussed shared support for using volunteerism and service to uplift communities.

Their federated clubs work across the state to make a difference in others' lives.
