Last night’s State of the Union was hard to watch. If anything, it revealed just how divided we are as a country; we are living completely different realities. And it demonstrated that Donald J. Trump is indeed capable of winning another 4 years. For his base, he hit on every note that they wanted to hear—regardless of half-truths and complete distortions.
It is up to us to get fired up and rally the support necessary to not only ignite a movement to win the Presidency, but to take the U.S. Senate and restore our Democracy! It is not hyperbole; we are in the fight of our lifetimes and we must have the courage to elect bold, progressive leaders to counterbalance the downward spiral we find ourselves in. I have stepped up in courage to challenge the political machinery that refuses to place the best interests of Coloradans and our country at the forefront of our democracy. Will you step up with me?
