Tina is upholding her campaign promise to address the housing crisis with the urgency it demands. Let's break down some of the progress she's made already:

• Last month, Tina signed the Affordable Housing and Emergency Homelessness Response Package into law — and she's already putting it into action.
• She tied the emergency funding to specific, local plans to rehouse more than 1,200 households and create over 600 new shelter beds in emergency areas by end of the year.
• She appointed a diverse group of housing development subject matter experts to the Housing Production Advisory Council, and they are working hard to develop comprehensive recommendations to ramp up home construction across Oregon.
• Now, Tina is urging the Legislature to approve another $1.3 billion before this session is over: $1 billion in bonding to build and preserve more affordable housing, and at least $300 million in general funds to continue work on housing and homelessness.
