Great news. Two of my resolutions passed the U.S. Senate this week!
I was proud to cosponsor and help pass U.S. Senator Roger Marshall's (R-KS) resolution to strike down the Biden administration's listing of the Lesser Prairie-Chicken (LPC) as 'endangered' under the Endangered Species Act. This listing will do nothing but jeopardize our farmers, ranchers, and domestic producers.
Oklahoma has successfully conserved the habitat areas and increased the population of the LPC for over 20 years without one-size-fits-all regulation from the federal government. Click here to read more.
In addition, I joined U.S. Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) in introducing a bipartisan resolution to support American solar manufacturers and to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for breaking American trade laws and using slave and child labor to produce these products. This resolution rescinds a recent Commerce Department rule which allowed Chinese solar manufacturers to circumvent U.S. tariffs by delivering their products to the U.S. through third-party countries, hurting American companies and workers.
