Wow!
Bob announced his Exploratory Campaign for Governor just days ago, but we are blown away at the outpouring of support our movement is receiving.
Just look at some of the numbers our finance team pulled this morning:
- 2,595 individual contributions — meaning we’re already over halfway to our goal of earning 5,000 individual contributions!
- 97% of those donations came from Washington State — showing how Bob fights for all Washingtonians, on both sides of the mountains.
- 94% of donations were under $100 — because we’re a grassroots-powered campaign that doesn’t accept donations from large corporations.
We couldn’t be more proud of this turnout. But with this race being an open seat, this is going to be a tough election, and we need to know you have Bob’s back.
This is an important decision because if Bob runs for Governor, he cannot run for re-election as Attorney General at the same time. That means he will have to leave the Office of Attorney General at the end of 2024 – whether he wins the Governor’s race or not.
Meeting this goal will be the first indicator of whether we have enough support to win, so please consider donating if you can.
