Team — in Ohio right now, extremist officials are making moves to try and restrict the power of ballot measures.
The Ohio State Senate has already voted to refer a dangerous measure to the ballot for this November that could strip Ohioans of the power of their vote. If passed, this measure would require all future ballot measures to pass with at least a 60% supermajority, making it extremely difficult for any future issues to win at the ballot box.
Now, the House will vote on this same measure, and if passed, this referendum would appear in front of voters as soon as November. We can and must fight back against their attacks. Will you rush a donation now to power our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign and prepare for the fight ahead, friend? [[link removed]]

Ohio is one of 10 states where a ballot measure could be used as a tool to permanently protect reproductive health care in the state — including abortion. And the Ohio legislature’s latest attack on ballot measures is no coincidence . Some of these extremist Ohio officials have gone ON RECORD stating that this referendum is an effort to keep Ohio voters from protecting abortion access via ballot measure as soon as this fall.
Team: We refuse to stand by while extremists make blatant attempts at restricting the power of American voters — in Ohio and everywhere. Our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign is at the ready to fight back against this attack on democracy, but we need to show extremist Ohio officials exactly who they’re up against. Will you rush a donation to our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign now to help us defeat this anti-democratic measure, friend? >> [[link removed]]
