Hi John,

Did you know that voter turnout for last year's elections was the second
highest for a midterms since 2000?

[ [link removed]- ]An NPR headline detailing the large voter turnout in the 2022 midterm
elections.

With more than 50 percent of voters casting ballots, we know last year's
elections showed the true power of our movement. When we vote, we have the
opportunity to upend the status quo and transform our politics.

With far-right extremist Republicans launching deliberate attacks on
reproductive rights, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and democracy itself, we
know the majority of the people do not stand with their hateful and
bigoted agenda.

Last year, our people-powered movement saw a wave of success up and down
the ballot as voters turned out. And we plan to build on that momentum in
2024 and beyond.
