The financial security, jobs, and benefits of millions of Americans are on the line and may start disappearing in less than a month as Republicans in the House play with the lives of Americans, trying to use a debt ceiling showdown to force President Biden to do what they want. 

Unless Congress comes to an agreement by June 1, Treasury Secretary Yellen suggests it could trigger a domestic and international financial catastrophe, and hardworking families will bear the brunt of that crisis. 

The GOP is playing with the lives of millions of Americans just to get their way – they are willing to see their own constituents lose jobs or Social Security to pursue their ideological goals. We need to put an end to this by flipping the House in 2024.
