The ADEA Advocacy and Government Relations team is pleased to announce the second in our quarterly series of the new virtual ADEA Advocacy Insights.
Please join us on Thursday, May 11 at noon ET!
 
The “ADEA Advocacy Insights” on federal and state-level activity reviews the latest governmental news affecting dental education. Our discussions will be interactive and informative and will feature ADEA speakers and outside speakers to provide insight and context to the issues impacting dental education.
 
Our first guest speaker will be Dr. Cecile Feldman, Dean of the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine who will be speaking about the Coalition for Modernizing Dental Licensure [ [link removed] ] .
 
Our second guest speaker for this call will be Matt Shafer, Deputy Policy Director at the National Center for Interstate Compacts. Matt will provide an overview of the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact [ [link removed] ] and will be available to answer questions.
 
The compact has been introduced in seven states [ [link removed] ] , and recently Iowa became the first state to sign the compact into law.
