We started calling for Clarence Thomas to resign way back in April of last year – and since then, new examples of how corrupt and unfit he is to serve as a Supreme Court justice keep popping up.
The list of reasons why Clarence Thomas has NO business sitting on the highest court is long. Here are just three of them.
ONE: Ginni Thomas, Clarence Thomas’ wife, texted Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows 29 times between the November 2020 election and January 6th, pleading with him to push lies about the election and fight to overturn the results. Instead of recusing himself from the case, Thomas voted to hide documents from the January 6th Committee that would implicate his wife.
TWO: Last month, his inappropriate and unreported relationship with conservative MAGA mega-donor Harlan Crow came to light. Thomas was accepting luxury gifts and trips from Crow for decades, and not bothering to report any of it in public financial filings. But we’re to believe they’re old friends, Thomas isn’t being bought by Crow, and any other MAGA friends Thomas is with aren’t swaying his votes.
THREE: Just this week, we found out that not only was Crow flying the Justice around the world and funding a Tea Party group started by his wife that paid her lavish salary, but he also paid the private school tuition for a family member Ginni and Clarence raised “as a son.”
You’ll be shocked to find out that he didn’t see this as important to report either.
