Nottingham Castle
There are limited tickets remaining for the Coronation Concert screening at Nottingham Castle this Sunday.
Broadcast live from Windsor, the line-up of performers includes Take That, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Freya Ridings, Alexis Ffrench, Paloma Faith, Tiwa Savage, Steve Winwood, Lang Lang, Nicole Scherzinger, Olly Murs, Pete Tong and Sonam Kapoor. The concert will be shown on a giant screen with a concert-quality sound system in the castle grounds.
For this picnic-style screening you can bring picnic food, or buy food and drink on site. Tickets cost just ÂŁ1 (inclusive of VAT and booking fees).

If you're in the city over the bank holiday weekend, don't miss the Coronation crown on the front of the Council House. You can even crown yourself and take a selfie!
The crown has been retro-fitted with LED lighting effects, as the Council House joins the UK-wide “Lighting Up The Nation” that will see the country join together and illuminate iconic locations across the UK. The Council House and crown will be lit up at dusk each evening up to Monday 8 May.

Broadway Cinema
Storyville, the BBC’s landmark international feature documentary strand is hosting its own series of films, Storyville Live, at the Eurovision cultural festival in Liverpool this month. A selection of these documentaries will be shown at Broadway Cinema on Friday 12 May.
These heart-rending but empowering films include We will not fade away, When spring came to Bucha and Eastern front. The themes of loss, hope and resistance are interwoven, showing the people of Ukraine coming together through unimaginable hardships.
Tickets are free but booking is required.

Nottingham Castle
Nottingham Castle will become a Eurovision live site to broadcast the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on a giant screen. You can sign up to our ticket ballot for the chance to get a pair of the last few tickets.
There are 100 pairs of tickets available (200 in total). Tickets will be randomly drawn and, if you are successful, you will be notified by email and will have 24 hours to claim.
The ballot closes on Wednesday 10 May.

Wollaton Park
Come and see Nottinghamshire police officers, firefighters, and other supporting agencies showcase their skills and demonstrations.
There will be a variety of stalls, displays and emergency vehicles to explore, including the underwater search unit, drone unit, search and rescue teams, and many more.
Also taking place will be the annual National Police Dog Trials this year.
Entry to the event is free but car parking charges apply.

Nottingham Trent University welcomes the fabulous Jess Gillam Ensemble to University Hall - a group of brilliant musicians who share Jess' bold, uplifting and open-minded approach.
Jess Gillam's career has seen her as a Classic BRIT Award winner, BBC Young Musician finalist and a Last Night of the Proms soloist.
After topping the classical charts with her album Time, the ensemble will perform music from the record, showcasing the diversity, dynamism, and versatility of the saxophone.

This Sunday 7 May, the gates to Wollaton Park will be opening at 4.30am, so you can enjoy bird song at first light.
Also, the courtyard cafe will be opening from 7am, so after enjoying a delightful walk you can finish off with a breakfast cob and a hot drink.
We recommend that visitors bring a head torch or small torch, and strictly ask that dogs are on leads during darkness. Car park charges do apply.
