Hi John,
It’s hard to believe that it has now been 100 days since I took on the job of Prime Minister. It’s been an absolute privilege!
In the first 100 days, I immediately got stuck in – resetting the Government to focus on bread and butter issues. From bringing down the cost of living in the face of global inflation to supporting cyclone-affected communities to recover and rebuild, our back to basics approach has seen us focus on the issues that matter most to New Zealanders.
A lot has happened in that time, so here’s a bit of a recap:

I’m really proud of everything that we’ve achieved in these 100 days, building on our progress since Labour took office in 2017, but I know there’s still more to do. We’re committed to growing a strong economy that delivers for all New Zealanders, while continuing to make progress on big challenges like housing, climate change, and health.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of people like you. Thank you for everything that you’ve done – from backing Labour at the 2020 election to the support you’ve shown me and Carmel in our first 100 days. With your financial support, we can continue to deliver meaningful change for Kiwis and their families, to make sure everyone in New Zealand can get ahead. <[link removed]>
Thanks,
Chris
