Unbelievable -- the Senate is almost certainly voting to acquit Trump this afternoon, even after multiple Republican senators acknowledged that he was guilty of the charges.
Sen. Lamar Alexander told Meet the Press that he thought Trump just didn’t know better than to not abuse his power to influence the coming election. Sen. Marco Rubio said that “just because actions meet a standard of impeachment does not mean it is in the best interest of the country to remove a president from office.”
The cowardice of the Republican party is staggering. We need to know where the people stand:
