My name is Nancy Jodaitis and I am the Director of Higher Education at Immigrants Rising. Today I am beyond thrilled to announce the release of a brand new systemwide AB 540 FAQ, which will be a central reference point for practitioners at colleges, universities, high schools, adult schools, and non-credit programs across California.

The Championing Equity: Systemwide AB 540 FAQ ([link removed]) aims to increase the ability of AB 540-eligible students to receive the same information at every public college and university in California. This first-of-its-kind tool will allow more effective implementation of this important tuition equity policy.

Together, we can increase alignment in the implementation of AB 540 and make in-state tuition and state-based financial aid more accessible for the undocumented community and beyond.
