John,
We just received Kaiser Permanente’s answer to our lawsuit against them on behalf of de-transitioner Chloe Cole.
And I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that all they’re doing is denying liability.
Kaiser claims that Chloe Cole gave consent through her parents for all the horrific drugs she was prescribed and life-altering surgeries that were performed on her.
But you and I know that a 13-year-old girl cannot give consent.
A 13-year-old isn’t even old enough to consent to watching an R-rated movie or to sign a contract!
Furthermore, there is no informed consent when scientific studies that may have changed her mind were concealed from Chloe and her parents.
There cannot be informed consent when the long-term medical ramifications of a surgerical gender transition—and the long-term impact of puberty blockers—were concealed from Chloe and her parents.
And there cannot be informed consent when doctors give parents the manipulative false dilemma, “would you rather have a dead daughter or a live son?”.
The truth remains that the doctors who permanently mutilated Chloe’s body must be held accountable for their actions.
If Kaiser Permanente and these doctors are allowed to give 13-year-old girls testosterone and perform double-mastectomies on them with no consequences, then there will be no limit to their terror.
That’s why our lawsuit against them is so important.
It’s up to folks like you and me to stand up and protect vulnerable children and parental rights.
I’ll be sure to keep you updated on our next steps in this groundbreaking case.
But rest assured that we will not stop until we have held Kaiser Permanente accountable and win justice for Chloe.
Thank you for your continued support.
