Hi team,

Election Day in Texas is the day after Tomorrow, on May 6th—and we just heard from our organizers on-the-ground about how things are looking for our 3 initiatives.

Our organizers tell us in all three cities, the race is extremely tight. Whether we’re successful could come down to just a handful of votes.

We need your help. Our organizers are working to Get Out The Vote and spread the word about our popular, progressive initiatives that are on the ballot. With just 48 hours to go, can you chip in to help us pass these groundbreaking initiatives? [[link removed]]

Chip In! >> [[link removed]]

Team, we’ve worked incredibly hard to put popular, progressive policies on the ballot in major cities across Texas.

Here’s a snapshot of what we’re trying to pass this SATURDAY:

*
A
groundbreaking
initiative
to
decriminalize
abortion
in
San
Antonio

The
initiative
also
decriminalizes
marijuana,
ends
police
chokeholds
and
no-knock
warrants,
and
encourages
citations
over
arrests
for
non-violent
crimes.
*
A
sweeping
climate
charter
in
El
Paso

This
initiative
would
create
new
jobs,
boost
the
local
economy,
promote
conservation
and
renewable
energy,
and
help
tackle
the
city’s
contribution
to
climate
change.
*
An
initiative
to
decriminalize
marijuana
in
Harker
Heights

This
initiative
would
reverse
the
City
Council’s
decision
to
overturn
our
initiative
and
bring
back
marijuana
decriminalization.

Can you chip in right now to help us Get Out the Vote and bring progressive change to Texas? [[link removed]] These initiatives will be a major win for Ground Game, for these communities, and for the movement for progressive change in Texas.

Thank you,

Ground Game Texas
