Boebert's response to mass shootings and death: AR-15s are "hole punchers"     John, We are all still processing what happened last week, when a family in Texas was brutally murdered after asking their neighbor to stop shooting an assault rifle outside their home. It's a shocking tragedy, and yet another grim reminder that we must do more to prevent senseless gun violence in America. Just hours after these sickening murders, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert tweeted a photo of herself holding up a T-Shirt with a large image of an AR-15, with the text "Since we're redefining everything, this is a cordless hole puncher." This callous behavior is unacceptable. As always, Boebert is more interested in trolling and going viral on social media than protecting her constituents. Here in Colorado, Governor Polis just signed four new gun control bills into law, and they are sure to save innocent lives. Most Americans, regardless of party, support these sorts of common sense gun reforms. But folks like Lauren Boebert are determined to divide at all cost. We cannot allow Boebert to continue holding this seat. That's why we’re writing to ask for your support of the Colorado Turnout Project. We are dedicated to electing leaders who will work towards solutions that benefit all Coloradans, including common-sense gun reform to prevent tragedies like what happened in Texas last week, and continues to happen in Colorado and across the U.S. Can you chip in $15 or more today to help the Colorado Turnout Project elect leaders who will work to unite, not divide, on the urgent issue of gun reform?
