Stop Cowboy Lenders

Dear friend,
Last week we launched our campaign against the cowboy lenders who are holding countries in debt crisis to ransom.
Big banks and hedge funds are making millions in interest payments while lower income countries are left without enough money to pay for health and education, or to respond to the climate crisis.
But together we have a chance to stop it. We’re pushing for a new law to make cowboy lenders cancel the debt, and you can make it happen.
One of the most powerful things you can do to help us win is to meet with your MP to ask them to support the campaign. Meeting your MP shows how much you care about this issue, and as your representative in parliament, they are duty bound to listen to your concerns.

You don’t have to have done anything like this before. Once you sign up, we’ll be with you every step of the way. We've prepared some online training sessions where you can learn more about the campaign and pick up some tips and tricks for getting your MP on-side.
Online trainings will be on:
* Tuesday 16th May, 2pm-4pm and again on
* Wednesday 24th May, 6pm – 8pm
