John, there’s a lot happening in Washington that Ami wants you to hear about.

Republicans in the House are trying to push through a debt ceiling plan that would punish working families, make health care less accessible, reverse climate mitigation efforts, and push many into poverty.

It’s a travesty, John. And just last week, they voted to pass it. Now, it’s up to the Senate and White House to negotiate or the U.S. economy may go into a tailspin.

Ami’s fighting back—because either option would be terrible for the American people. We have to protect the economy, the planet, and working families.
