The Washington Post: House passes GOP debt ceiling bill, as U.S, inches towards fiscal crisis
Slash federal spending on key social programs. Repeal the historic programs we implemented to combat climate change. Make it harder for low-income working families who rely on food assistance and Medicaid.

That's what the Republican default bill sets out to do and we cannot let this continue. Looking forward to 2024, we MUST win back our Democratic House majority and actually support working families, not pull the rug out from under them. Can Suzan count on your support as she leads this fight to win back the House? >>>

Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans are wagering with American lives as political leverage while pushing our country closer to financial crisis. Preventing a default is the responsible action to take, but not at the expense of our hard-working families.

Their bill, if adopted, would also:
  • Repeal clean energy tax credits,
  • Eliminate student debt relief,
  • And limit the federal government's ability to regulate large industries.
This is not what American families need and Suzan won't stand for it. Show Suzan you have her back too by pitching in right now to support our fight back to the majority. >>>

Thank you for standing with Suzan and with working families.
