Tragedy is constantly trending in the United States, John.
This time, it was an active shooter in Atlanta. A man reportedly became enraged during a visit to a medical facility and opened fire, killing one person and critically injuring at least four others.
Neither the state, city, nor place matters when it comes to our nation’s gun violence epidemic. No one is safe in a country where civilians and lawmakers alike put guns and their industry profits over our lives.
It’s time to trend toward change , John. Daily gun violence shouldn’t be the norm and each day our lawmakers fail to take action, people are being shot and killed.
We cannot keep living like this. We cannot continue to allow people to die like this. We are devastated by another tragedy and enraged that Congress has failed to do something to stop them.
