Not only will this bill cause immeasurable harm to patients in our state, but it’s even more proof that the GOP doesn’t care a whit about heeding the will of the people.

Look, Republicans know that abortion restrictions aren’t what the vast majority of North Carolinians want. They know the voters wouldn’t approve.

So radical legislators are pulling out the stops and breaking every legislative norm to pass a draconian ban without oversight or amendment.

It’s outrageous — but this is what extremists do when they think they can get away with it. But we won’t let them!
