We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new video series, “Blue Opiñon!” In this series, we’ll dive deep into Democratic achievements in NM and why Democrats are leading the way to a better future for all New Mexicans. Each month, we’ll highlight a different Democratic leader, who will share their thoughts and insights about New Mexico’s most impactful issues and how Democrats are working tirelessly to solve them. 

This month’s episode of “Blue Opiñon” features NM State Senator Katy Duhigg on voting rights in New Mexico and how Democrats came together to create HB4, the NM Voting Rights Act, a revolutionary piece of legislation which makes voting easier and more accessible and establishes NM as a new shining beacon for voting rights in America. Senator Duhigg is a champion for voting rights and was instrumental in the passage of several key pieces of legislation that led to a stronger democracy in New Mexico.
