I'm humbled, John.

Thanks to the remarkable generosity of more than 41,304 donors we hit our July fundraising goal. I hope you'll lend me a moment to explain why that matters so much for our party and to extend my deepest thanks.

Over the past two nights, Americans across the nation got a glimpse of the brighter, better, and fairer leadership on the horizon. Twenty of our inspiring 2020 candidates shared their bold plans to move our country forward and tackle our toughest issues head-on.

Next year, one of our incredible candidates will take on Donald Trump. And they will have a strong Democratic Party at their back because of you.

I know I must sound like a broken record at this point, John, but this fight will not be easy. Even though we hit our goal this month, Trump and the RNC have been outraising us, and they're far more organized than they were in 2016. We can't afford to leave a single vote on the table on Election Day 2020. Thousands of folks on this grassroots team came together to hit our goal last month. Now, I'm asking if you'd make a donation right now to keep up our momentum:

If we raise an additional $50,000 today, we'll be able to start August off strong, with the potential to scale up the critical programs Democrats need to win. If each person reading this is able to chip in what they can, I believe we will get there together.

The fact isn't lost on me that I ask you to support our party often, and I realize that not many folks can afford to donate each time we ask.
